Pet Pride saves the lives of homeless cats in our community by providing shelter, veterinary care, and placement into loving adoptive homes.
Our work is guided by a belief that every cat deserves a loving, permanent home. Once a cat is admitted to Pet Pride, they stay with us for as long as it takes to find their forever home. We believe that no cat should be euthanized for want of a safe place to live and needed medical care. We believe that we are stronger when we partner with individuals and organizations to share knowledge, raise public awareness, and work together toward a world in which there are no more homeless cats.
Pet Pride was founded by dedicated cat rescuer Jacqueline Russel and beloved local veterinarian Dr. Stuart Gluckman. We have been a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization since 1977 and have had our own sanctuary and adoption center since 2000.
1977 - Began operating out of founder's garage.
2000 - Built and moved to our own sanctuary.
